Have you heard of Crazy Scuba yet? If not, you should have. They've been around for over 20 years, and they are a great place to buy scuba gear on line and at great discounts.
They have every conceivable item you can think of, and some you didn't even know existed! They also offer gift tokens - ideal if your partner is crazy about diving.
They ship to The United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, The UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Guam and APO/FPO addresses and can get your gear to you within 3 days.

Ok I guess its about time to come out and admit it, NO not that, "that" would be the subject of an altogether different web site.
The thing is that for some time my mind has been telling my body that its 25,well actually probably since I was 25!. I am actually double that and a bit more, and that’s as far as I am taking that!
This results in my mind writing out cheques that sometimes my body has trouble cashing, resulting in spectacular sports injuries.

Did you know, there are no Flamingos in Lanzarote, I mention this as you may wonder why it is so named, I haven’t a clue, but there again there is another diving area at Playa Chica, which roughly translates to beach girl, the mind boggles, but I digress, which for all you Sun Newspaper readers means I have wondered off and lost the point, which is the dive at Flamingo Bay.
This dive is like no other on Lanzarote, it is relatively shallow, 19 mtrs at high tide, there are no drop offs, but I can only liken it to diving in an aquarium.

A wetsuit is pretty much an essential piece of kit for a dive, affording some protection from cuts and scrapes, but with the primary aim of keeping your body warm. The body cannot maintain it's own temperature in water cooler than 33 degrees, so even in the tropics some kind of suit is needed.

I don't dive, haven't even tried it, I tell myself I don't think I could cope with the ear pain which I think I would suffer with as when flying or in cold winds and that's enough of an excuse for now. Maybe one day I will be persuaded to stop snorkelling, which I love and head under water to join the boys and fish.
So what have I got to say about diving then? Only that its changed my life! There's something about the boys, its so much more than just diving buddies, the circle grows to include the wifes and girlfriends and a new social life is born.

The following day dawned bright, clear and warm, as they all did during our trip. It is worth packing a light fleece though, as evenings and fast crossings can be cool.
I had started this trip determined to do every dive on offer, but this was the day I failed in that task. Even as someone who dives pretty much every week, I was feeling the pace of the four dives the day before. But here are the dives I did:

Australian Shark Shame.
WWWF-Australia have just published figures that more than 500tonnes of shark product was exported over the last 13months, including 230tonnes of shark fins. This represents the slaughter of over 10,000 sharks by the most conservative estimates and does not include the number of sharks caught for the domestic market.

Hello from Downunder,
Welcome to the land of Kangaroos, Vegemite (Marmite to you Poms) the Barbecue and a bewildering language that has even taken a hardened London boy to task.
